I want to thank the Boys & Girls Club and NVLA site director
Julia Matison for providing a safe and fun place for our children
to be after school. As working parents, this program has been a
lifesaver. However, this club is not a place to “park” children
until their parents can collect them. For many students at NVLA,
the Boys & Girls Club is their favorite part of the day.
Organized games and activities, arts and crafts, healthy snacks and
strong homework support fill the afternoon for these children. At a
school with more than 700 students, this is no easy task. But the
incredible staff at the NVLA clubhouse made it look easy and always
treated the students with respect and care.
Thank you, NVLA Boys & Girls Club, for seven years of taking
excellent care of our children and providing the families of NVLA
with this vital program.
