RAIN OR SHINE! On Monday, October 31st
2011, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley will host our 30th Annual “Haunted Harvest” Halloween Carnival, sponsored by
C-Line Express, at our Napa Clubhouse.
This free event is open to the public (Club
membership is not required to participate), provides a safe alternative
to trick-or-treating, and is a positive environment in which to enjoy
Halloween.
The
Carnival will offer a variety of games, treats, and friendly competitions for all ages.
It will feature some new surprises to THRILL you, and new activities for
all family members to enjoy! The Barn Stage is returning this year, and will
offer entertainment with audience interactive games, raffles, and family
competitions.
Boys
& Girls Club members and staff from our 13 after
school sites across Napa & American Canyon are pitching in to help
make this annual event a success. Members are creating Halloween decorations and rehearsing for a special performance that night,
while many Club 1515 Teen Center members are volunteering to run the Carnival
game booths.
Support
from businesses, community groups, and individuals are essential for the
success of the Carnival. Community
volunteers and candy or prize donations are
still needed.
All youth
must be accompanied by an adult in order to gain entrance to the carnival, and
costumes are strongly encouraged. If you
are interested in donating or volunteering to support this event, please
contact Anya at 707-255-8866 x115 or anya@thepositiveplace.org.
