Boys & Girls Clubs of
Napa Valley (BGCNV) is proud to introduce Mark Kuhnhausen as the newest member of their team. Mark has accepted the Executive Director position, and began working for the organization on July 15th. Mark comes to us from
Boise,
Idaho, and has more than 20 years experience working with Boys & Girls Clubs at all levels within the organization. Over the past five years, Mark has helped Clubs across the Northwest organize and implement capital and development campaigns designed to strengthen local organizations, while building state-of-the-art facilities for young people. In addition, Mark also served as the Executive Director for the Idaho Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs.
“I am honored to serve as the Executive Director and represent such a fine organization, and I am looking forward being an active member of the
Napa community,” said Kuhnhausen. He continued, “I truly believe in what Boys & Girls Clubs offer their communities and know that we can change young peoples' lives.” “It is amazing to see the need and growth here in the
Napa
Valley,” Kuhnhausen added.
“We are excited that Mark is joining our organization,” said John Coleman, President of the Board of Directors. “With his experience and passion for helping kids, he is ideally suited to lead our organization to the next level. We are anxious for the
Napa
Valley community to meet Mark.”
Likewise, Kuhnhausen is hoping to engage the
Napa community, and meet personally with key stakeholders. Ensuring that all kids have access to quality and affordable programs is a crucial component in developing youth into positive, caring adults. He believes that everyone in the community benefits from programs like the Boys & Girls Clubs. “Communities that truly care about kids
support these efforts, and it is clear that the
Napa
Valley is a community that cares,” added Mark.
