Youth of the Year Competition & Celebration

Tuesday, February 12, 2013
5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Napa Valley Marriott
3425 Solano Ave, Napa

Youth of the Year is Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier recognition program for teen Club members, promoting service to Club, community and family; academic success; strong moral character; life goals; and poise and public speaking ability. The program is designed to foster young people’s character, personal growth and leadership qualities.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley selected four high school members as Youth of the Year nominees whom we feel embody the characteristics to represent us as our annual Youth of the Year.

Please join us at the competition to hear all four Youth of the Year candidates give a speech in front of a panel of community leader judges and Club supporters, and celebrate these young people’s accomplishments.

The first place winner will be revealed that night, and receive a Bob Green Memorial Scholarship to be used towards college. Additionally, the winner will be entered into the state-wide competition, and have an opportunity to make it to the national competition for additional scholarships.
